Never Forget This!

Dear Precious Friends,
On this beautiful new day, this gift from God, I pray you are embracing this day with hope, joy and the reminder that no matter what we are walking through, in Christ we are more than overcomers!!
When we walk through suffering or difficulties, we need to be reminded of how much God loves us. God's ultimate goal is to make us more like Christ. We know in this world we will have trouble, but take heart I have overcome the world! Paul is writing in Romans 8 that it is impossible as believers to be separated from the love of Christ. Persecution, illness, imprisonment, and even death may come but Jesus died and showed his unconquerable love.
Nothing can separate us from His love!! Nothing! We are secure in Him. In Christ we are super-conquerors, and his love will protect us from any forces that come against us.
Romans 8:31-39 reminds us:
What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things? Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies. Who then is the one who condemns?No one. Christ Jesus who died—more than that, who was raised to life—is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? As it is written:
“For your sake we face death all day long;
we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered.”
No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
WOW WOW WOW!!!! WOWZA!!!! That is so much love and we are so undeserving... We must remember Jesus loves us so much He came, He took our place and died the death we deserve and He pleads for us in heaven. When these words were written by Paul they were written to a church that would undergo unbelievable hardships and terrible persecution. In just a few short years these difficulties he mentioned would be painful realities.
We have all certainly been through a lot these past few years.
Sometimes there are things in life that seem so tough that at the end of the day we feel that we will never conquer that Giant that is in front of us. And of course our enemy will be right there to tell us we will never win, or we don’t have what it takes to win.
May we be reminded today that we are Overcomers! We are reminded of what John tells us in 1 John 5:5, “Who is it that overcomes the world? Only the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God”. As believers, we have victory in Jesus name. We are more than conquerors. (victors) My friends, when we think of God's faithfulness through our darkest times and call out what He has done, it reminds us of these truths.
Today as we go through our day may we remember nothing can separate us from the Love of Christ and His presence. God tells us how great His love is so that we will feel totally secure in Him. If we believe & receive these overwhelming assurances we will not be afraid and whatever we face in life we know God has a plan and gives us victory.
Amen!
