Dear Precious Friends,
I pray as we embrace the gift of a new day, we seek Him first, spend time with Him in His word, love like never before and live knowing in an instant Jesus will return.
Matthew 25:13. "Watch, therefore, for you know neither the day nor the hour." This verse comes in the context of Matthew Chapter 25. Jesus is talking about how He's going to come back and we don't know when. Only the Father knows when Jesus is coming back, so He says, "Watch because you don't know the day or the hour."
I'm thinking, "Oh, God. I want to be ready." I want to be ready when Jesus comes back. I can think of so many things I don't want to be doing when Jesus comes back. I don't want to be found walking in disobedience to God. I don't want to be found in apathy toward God. I want to be found walking with God in faithfulness to God, obeying His commands, living for his glory.
The reality is, that day could be today. Do we just sit back and realize for a moment, pause amidst the busyness of our day and realize Jesus could come back today. We could see Him today, and that'll change our perspective on how we view our day. We want all our loved ones to be with us in heaven. We want all our loved ones to know Jesus.
May we live in such a way that they want what we have… the greatest gift of all…
Knowing Jesus as our Lord and Savior. He is either Lord of all or Lord of nothing at all.
This life is a vapor.
My friends may we make our days count for Eternity!
Only one life twill soon be past, only what’s done for Christ will last.
"Abba Father, I want every moment of my day to count today. I want to be ready. If You're coming back today, I want to be ready. I want to be pure. I want to be holy. I want to be walking with You. I want to be worshiping You. I want to be telling somebody else about You when You're coming back. I pray all our loved ones know you and if not may I plant seeds of faith. I pray if you return today I would be found telling someone about you and there You are. How awesome would that be? I want to be walking in obedience to you, I want to live like that today.
Amen.
